What is Swar : In music world, musical notes or key notes is called SWAR. As we all know, there are 7 Notes in Indian Classical Music which are also called Shuddha Swar. Shuddha Swar’s are as follows :
Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Dha Ni
These swar’s or notes are also called Shadja (Sa), Rishabh (Re), Gandhar (Ga), Madhyam (Ma), Pancham (Pa), Dhaivat (Dha) and Nishad (Ni).
What is Komal Swar (k) : In simple language, harmonium black keys are called Komal. Komal Swar’s frequency is lower than their Shuddha Swar. (Please see below Image For Batter Knowledge).
What is Teevra Swar (t) : In 7 basic swar’s only “Ma” becomes Teevra. Teevra Swar’s frequency is higher than its Shuddha Swar.
