Welcome to Piano Daddy, Piano Learning Lessons. In this section you’ll learn the Basics of Piano, Key Names, sharps and flats Notes. Let’s start the lessons.

White piano keys are called naturals. There are seven naturals on the keyboard: C D E F G A B. After the B, the scale repeats itself on the next C. This means you only have to memorize seven notes!  This pattern is constant on all keyboards. Every note on the keyboard is represented in this single 12-note octave—they’re just higher or lower in pitch. See the below image and understand the name of keys.

Signs and meaning :

+ = Higher Octave
– = Lower Octave
# = Sharp Notes
b = Flat Notes

Here is the octave on which we are going to learn key names.
